Erika Jayne and Tom’s mansion sold in bankruptcy

Months after the 10,277-square-foot, four-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion, where the former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple lived through most of their decades-long marriage, reportedly subject to foreclosure, new court filing confirmed buyers Jun Tao and Peng Tao made an offer of $7.5 million.
According to court documents obtained by Speed cameras online on September 26, the trustee presiding over Thomas’ bankruptcy notified the court of the Taos’ intention to purchase the property, which had been on the market since early 2021 when it listed for $13 million.
As RHOBH Fans may recall that the price of Erika and Thomas’ former home has been slashed several times since it hit the market last year, from $11.5 million to $9.98 million. from $8.9 million to $8.2 million.
The new court documents also confirmed that the buyers declared under oath that they had “no affiliation with Thomas Vince Girardi, his bankruptcy estate or” the bankruptcy trustee, and they requested that a judge sign the OK.
Once the judge signs off, the proceeds from the sale will be used to pay off some of Thomas’s many creditors. As Radar Online explained, Thomas’ former law firm Girardi Keese was hit with a whopping $517 million in claims filed against him, including $363 million in unsecured claims, $17 million in dollars in priority claims, $137 million in guaranteed claims and $250,000. in administrative complaints.
Prior to Taos’ $7.5 million bid, the attorney Ronald Richardwho previously worked alongside the bankruptcy trustee, announced plans to buy the home for $6.9 million.
“Since our offer will be part of any approval motion, we are posting it now so you know [Lauren Boyette Richards] and i try to buy [Erika Jayne]from the trustee,” Ronald announced in July.
